Such a wonderful story about two lost souls who find love. Well written book by an amazing author. I have enjoyed all of the books so far. Look forward to reading the next book.
I've got another favorite author. Lori Sjoberg is great. I like series. I liked her characters. I'm going to recommend this book along with her other books to my cousin. We like the same romance books. Just enough action, suspense and sex. Great!!!
Good book kept my interest throughout the book. Characters were interesting and colorful. Would recommend thus book to anyone who likes romance books.
The story was easy to get through but there was nothing memorable about it. There was no depth to the characters or the story. The “mystery†aspect of the story got resolved in a few paragraphs of “confession.†There really isn’t much of a story here. The hero’s marine background didn’t add anything to the story so I was left wondering why it was even there.
Carter & Amy are intriguing characters. Watching them work through their histories in order to create a future made for a fun story. looking forward to the next book in this series! A great read!!
I loved the first book of this series that I had to read book 2. This book carries on where it left off in book one Driven. This was another fun book to read. When I finished Driven I had to know what happen to the brother from the first book. He was a war vet and had all those issues to deal with when he got home. He had issues of what happened to deal with and the last thing he wanted was a girl in his life. The story takes up when he gets home, and that is all I am going to say about it.. ;) its was so much fun read to read. A story that showcases real life, what happens, why things happen and who or whom its all about it. If you really enjoyed Driven then you will really love Fractured..
This story was perfectly sweet and delightfully took place on a country horse farm in Florida. Two people faced their demons and enjoyed an easy-paced romance. It was slow-paced because they kept getting interrupted by the other characters on the farm, each of which I absolutely loved. The characters were all well-defined and had strong personalities.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series, and it was perfect as a stand-alone. A short preview of the next book is included, which I will definitely be reading! (And I’ll have to go back and read the first book too) Highly recommended for a sweet story, a little bit of a thrilling background, and easy dialogue.

Lori Sjoberg did it again, and this time Carter Phillips is second on my list of BBs. Number one is that rascal, Cadeon the Kingmaker, but that's a different review. Considering he knocked Rhage to number three after four years, that's saying something.
The storyline was good, the pace well done. The writing was top notch, and the entire book well edited.
From the first page, I was sucked in. Amy, our fantastic and wonderfully flawed, heroine, was easy to connect with. Independent, sassy when at ease, yet I felt her fears. Another hardworking woman, and I adored her. She wasn't whiny, she sucked it up, and I fully understood the whole, "Yeah, it's a bruise, but I have crap to do!" attitude. She's intelligent, and starting a new life is never easy.
Carter? Oh-holy-crap-on-a-cracker. Let's count down our hero, shall we?
1. Scars - inside AND out. Yep, I'm a sucker for them.
2. Six-four of ripped woman loving man. As in he really does like women - as humans. Seriously, how can you not fall for that?!
3. Perfectly arrogant, a tad bit cocky.
4. INTELLIGENT
5. He has sweetheart moments. OMG. I melted in several places. [Lori - honestly - use a 3D printer or something, we need more of him]
6. FLAWED. He wasn't perfect, knew he wasn't perfect, and for the most part, was good with that. And understood when he needed to mature a tad bit more to be a grown up, to face his internal issues on his own - not wait for a woman to do it for him.
The plot was good, the suspense built nicely, and the twists were hinted at, but never fully revealed until the end.
The sex scenes, again, were so flippin' SEXY! Not porn. The emotions were there. Don't get me wrong, a good porn scene comes in handy, but when an author can make you feel the emotions?! Yeah, buddy!
To make this overly long, horribly written review down to a few words - Fractured just made my top five books ever. Thanks, Lori, can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
